Chelsea forward and Belgium striker, Romelu Lukaku was moved to tears when his loan deal agreement was reached, and it fulfills his long season dream to return to Italy.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Lukaku became emotional when informed by his lawyer Sebastien Ledure that an agreement has been reached in negotiations between both clubs on Tuesday.
It came in after talks stalled on Monday due to Inter president Steven Zhang’s attempt to restructure the deal, but Lukaku will have a medical at Inter next week to confirm the move.
Inter will pay Chelsea £7 million plus add-on with Lukaku reportedly taking a 35 percent cut on his wages of £325- a- week at Stamford Bridge, taking the figure to around £210, 000.
The Belgian striker, 29, would go back to Inter Milan just a year after leaving the club for a second stint at Chelsea for a record fee of £97.5 million
