- Kizz Daniel Is More Relevant To The Industry Than Burna Boy And Davido At The Moment – DO YOU AGREE?
Burna Boy won a Grammy and kinda fell off.
The “Ye” singer has been looking for a hit song ever since. The problem, I think, is that he didn’t grab the opportunity to make a lot of hits on “Twice As Tall” and opted for Grammy material instead.
His last major hit has to be from the 2019 album “African Giant” because all of his consequent efforts at making a hit (“Wonderful,” “Onyeka,” “Kilometre,” “Question”) have been very unsatisfactory. Surely, if he can win a Grammy, then he can do better than that.
How about David? The man dropped an album that flopped so hard he hasn’t been able to follow up since. It’s been almost two years, goddamn!
But it is what it is, Davido‘s relevance continues to reduce by the day and it’s becoming a sad sight to see. It doesn’t seem like another album will save him, in fact.
Kizz Daniel, on the other hand, has kept it a buck since his “King of Love” outing in 2020, putting out hit singles consistently. Last year, Kizz upped his game and created a very iconic project, an EP that is still the #1 album in Nigeria till now.
Although people thought the “King of Love” album was generally underwhelming, “Barnabas” the EP, has managed to restore Kizz Daniel‘s undying relevance in the music industry.
Currently, Kizz Daniel can be said to be the number one artist in the country, and he has the number to back it up.
This is unlike people like Burna Boy and Davido whose top spots have become completely ceremonial since they’re doing absolutely nothing buzz-worthy right now.
The fact is, Kizz Daniel is a much more relevant artist than both Burna Boy and Davido right now and there’s no doubt about that.
